Bio
Tom Knight is a musician, puppeteer, and multimedia artist from Western Massachusetts who has been entertaining children and families since 1988. His interactive musical puppet shows blend catchy songs, colorful handmade puppets, and timeless stories. Tom has performed thousands of joyful, high-energy shows at elementary schools, libraries, preschools, and festivals across the country.
His performances feature crowd favorites like “The Library Boogie,” “Alligator Jump / ¡Salta Caimán!” and “The Garbage Monster,” mixing music, movement, and laughter into every show.
In addition to his classic puppet shows, Tom now offers Upstander!, a high-energy school assembly with seven original songs about kindness, empathy, and bullying prevention—designed to get kids singing, moving, and thinking about how to be a positive force in their school communities.
Tom has released seven albums of original music for children and families, available on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music, and here on this website. His “Elephant’s Lullaby” video has been viewed over 2.9 million times on YouTube. With a style that channels the warmth of Mister Rogers and the creativity of Jim Henson, Tom brings kids (and their grown-ups) stories that entertain, inspire, and get everyone moving.
