Bio
Sonia De Los Santos, born in Monterrey, Mexico, is a singer-songwriter who has been captivating audiences in both Spanish and English since 2007, starting with the Grammy Award-winning group Dan Zanes and Friends. As a solo artist, she has released three family music albums and an EP, drawing inspiration from Latin American rhythms and North American folk traditions. Sonia has received a Latin Grammy nomination, and has performed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and The National Gallery of Art. In 2020, she launched an online series, En Casa con Sonia, and debuted a radio segment, ¿Qué Pasa, Sonia?, on Sirius XM in 2021. In 2024, she premiered Música, a live show celebrating women in music, currently touring across the US. Additionally, she is working on three illustrated bilingual children’s books, with the first, La Golondrina, set to be published in 2026 by W.W Norton Young Readers.
