Bio
Kevin McDaniels is a composer of music for film, tv, video game and other forms of media who recently relocated to Rochester from Los Angeles. His music has been placed on over 2700 television episodes, including episodes of American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Guiding Light, Catfish, The Daily Show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and Ancient Aliens to name just a few. He received a daytime Emmy award in 2008 for “Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction & Composition for a Drama Series,” as part of the Guiding Light composing team, and his music was broadcast during the awards ceremony. In addition, he has composed music for many films, both short and feature length, as well as other media projects. Aside from composing music, Kevin enjoys hiking and taking care of his two young boys.
