Presented by Lucy Hiku and Claudia Gunn

This Spotify for Kindie workshop will cover tips and tricks Lucy and Claudia have picked up through experience as artists managing their own spotify presence as well as assisting fellow kids musicians take control of this part of promoting their digital catalogue.

Lucy Hiku is a New Zealand kids musician from Tui award winning duo Itty Bitty Beats. She is on the board of the Kiwi Kids Music charity and loves to elevate children’s music and musicians. “Spotify has been a real game changer with regards to reaching audiences on the other side of the world and gaining some streaming revenue. We have learnt so much along the way and would love to share these tips and tricks with other artists.” Itty Bitty Beats has built up over 4.8 million streams since 2014 and playlisting strategies has been a big part of encouraging this growth.

Claudia Robin Gunn writes warm, indie-folk melodies and harmonies that capture the golden essence of childhood. She is a new CMN and Recording Academy member, and is passionate about connecting artists and building community through music. Her approach to Spotify tries to utilise all of the artist tools that Spotify have available, including making the most of canvases, artist profile and social integrations.
